It started in Miami, December 2022. She had come down from New York; he was in school there. None of it was planned.

2023 was long distance — Miami to New York, New York to Miami. Weekends, airports, a lot of texts. The plans kept getting smaller and the days kept getting better.

By 2024 they were living together, and they've been together since — through 2025, into 2026. The same daily things, only theirs.

On 29 May 2026 they're going to the courthouse in New York — just the two of them. Thanks for being here for it.
